Cédrick Gineste is an enthusiast in geology/mineralogy since the secondary school, visiting outcrops and old mines in the French Massif Central since 1991.
His technical expertise is in the domain of exploration/mining of base metals and precious metals, particularly in the tropical area characterized by extensive cover of regolith. During his career he progressed from geological technician to geologist, to senior geologist and project manager / exploration manager. His overseas experience spans more than 20 years in West Africa, Central Africa, New Caledonia, Australia, Madagascar, Guyana, Morocco. Always eager to train young generations of geologists, in recent years he was part time lecturer to teach students in the fields of exploration techniques and GIS tools. Academically, Cédrick holds a BTS in Applied Geology (ENSG, Nancy) and a M.Sc. in exploration and mineral resources (EGERM, Orléans). |
